Position Summary: The Lander 2025 Team is searching for an Office Manager. This person is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the campaign office, ensuring a productive, organized, and efficient work environment. This role involves managing administrative tasks, maintaining office supplies, coordinating schedules, and supporting staff to help the campaign run smoothly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration:
Be the face of the campaign to incoming visitors.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the campaign office, including opening and closing the office.
Maintain an organized and functional workspace, ensuring all office equipment is operational.
Handle correspondence, incoming calls, and general inquiries.
Supply Management:
Track inventory and order office supplies, materials, and equipment as needed.
Ensure campaign materials, such as flyers, buttons, and signs, are stocked and ready for distribution.
Scheduling and Coordination:
Maintain office and team schedules, including staff meetings and event planning.
Coordinate staff and volunteer onboarding, including setting up workspaces and providing necessary materials.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of office expenses and assist in budget tracking.
Support compliance by organizing and filing receipts, forms, and other documents.
Staff Support:
Serve as a point of contact for staff and volunteers, addressing needs and resolving issues.
Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the campaign leadership.
Coordinate logistics for meetings, trainings, and events, including catering and venue setup.
Technology and IT Support:
Ensure office technology (printers, phones, and Wi-Fi) is functioning properly.
Liaise with IT support as needed to troubleshoot technical issues.
Requirements
Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience in office administration, operations, or a similar role.
Experience in political campaigns or fast-paced environments is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic knowledge of budget management and record-keeping.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience coordinating with diverse teams and managing schedules.
Familiarity with campaign operations and logistics.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Working Conditions:
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by campaign schedules.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks, such as setting up for events.
